1. I am on a Cruise Ship. Will I get back in time?
Absolutely. This is our safest tour for cruise passengers because it is short (4 hours) and close to the port. We guarantee your return at least 1 hour before your ship departs.
2. Is there a lot of walking?
Altun Ha is one of the easiest sites to walk. The ground is flat and grassy. Climbing the temples is completely optional.
3. Can I climb the temples?
Yes! You are allowed to climb the main temple for a great view. The steps are steep but manageable for anyone with average fitness.
4. Is lunch included?
Lunch is not standard on this half-day tour to keep the price low and the schedule flexible. However, we can stop at a local restaurant if you wish (cost is on you).
5. Can we stop for shopping?
Yes. Since this is a private tour, simply ask your driver to stop at a local craft market or souvenir shop during the City Tour portion.
6. Is this tour suitable for young children?
Yes, this is very family-friendly. Kids love the open space at the ruins to run around (under supervision).
7. Do you pick up from the Water Taxi Terminal?
Yes. If you are coming from San Pedro or Caye Caulker, we will meet you right at the Belize City Water Taxi terminal with a sign.
