Belize Tours from Placencia
The Ultimate Belizean Double-Header. Why choose between the canopy and the caves when you can do both? Departing from the Placencia Peninsula, we travel the world-renowned Hummingbird Highway—a scenic masterpiece of emerald peaks and limestone cliffs. Your day is spent soaring through the rainforest canopy and floating through the sacred limestone caves of the Nohoch Che'en Archaeological Reserve.
Feel the adrenaline as you "fly" across the jungle. Our course features multiple platforms and lines that crisscross the rainforest floor. It is safe, exhilarating, and offers a bird’s-eye view of the Belizean wilderness that you simply can't get from the ground.
After your flight, it’s time to cool off. Equipped with high-tech headlamps and professional inner tubes, you’ll enjoy a gentle float through the Caves Branch River system. Your guide will point out ancient crystalline formations and explain the deep spiritual significance these caves held for the Maya people.
Many tour operators from Placencia cram guests into large vans. Our **Private Adventure** includes a dedicated vehicle and guide just for your group. We can stop for the famous "Sleeping Giant" photo op, grab fresh coconut water on the roadside, and most importantly, we arrive at the park ahead of the large cruise ship crowds.

1. Why is this tour a full day?
Placencia is about 2.5 hours from the cave systems. However, we make the drive part of the adventure by taking the scenic route and making stops that big tour buses can't make.
2. Is there a weight or height limit?
For the Zipline, the typical weight limit is 275 lbs. For Cave Tubing, children must be at least 40 inches tall to participate safely.
3. Will I get wet?
Yes! You will be sitting in a tube in the river. We recommend bringing a dry bag for your phone or using a waterproof casing.
4. Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
No. The river is slow-moving, and everyone must wear a life jacket. Your guide will be with you the entire time to navigate the tubes.
5. What if it rains?
In Belize, we call it "liquid sunshine!" The tour usually proceeds in light rain. If river levels are too high for safety, we will notify you immediately so you can reschedule or choose an alternative adventure.
