Private Belize Adventure understands that travel plans can change. Our cancellation and refund terms are designed to be clear, fair, and practical for private Belize tours, shore excursions, transfers, and custom activities. Because each experience may involve guides, transportation, entrance fees, water taxi or flight timing, supplier reservations, and cruise schedules, the exact terms may vary by tour and travel date.
Before booking
Please review the tour details, pickup location, duration, activity level, and what is included before submitting your request. If you are unsure whether a tour fits your cruise schedule, hotel location, flight arrival, mobility needs, or family group, contact us before booking so we can recommend the best option.
Cancellation requests
Cancellation requests should be sent in writing by email, contact form, or WhatsApp. Please include the lead guest name, tour name, travel date, pickup location, and booking details so we can locate your request quickly. A cancellation is not considered confirmed until our team replies.
Weather, road conditions, and site closures
Belize tours may be affected by tropical weather, road conditions, river levels, government site closures, safety restrictions, or supplier decisions. If conditions make a tour unsafe or unavailable, Private Belize Adventure will review practical options, which may include rescheduling, adjusting the itinerary, offering an alternative experience, or discussing refund eligibility based on the situation and costs already committed.
Cruise passenger timing
Cruise passengers should send the ship name, arrival time, departure time, and number of guests before booking. Private shore excursions are planned around ship schedules whenever possible. If a ship itinerary changes or a tendering delay affects pickup, contact us as early as possible so we can review options.
Deposits and supplier costs
Some tours may require deposits, entrance fees, transportation reservations, guide assignments, equipment, or third-party services. Refund eligibility may depend on how close the cancellation is to the travel date and whether supplier costs have already been committed.
No-shows and late arrivals
If guests do not arrive at the agreed meeting point, do not communicate delays, or arrive too late to complete the tour safely within the available time, the booking may be treated as a no-show. No-shows may not be eligible for refund.
