Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

1. Application and approval

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Private Belize Adventure may approve, reject, pause, or remove an account based on brand fit, content quality, audience, compliance, fraud risk, or program needs. Approved partners must keep contact, website, social-media, tax, and payout information accurate.

2. Qualifying bookings and commission

A commission is eligible only when the booking:

• is attributed to the affiliate through an approved link, code, or accepted manual record;
• is genuine, paid, completed, and not duplicated;
• is not cancelled, refunded, charged back, disputed, fraudulent, or reversed; and
• otherwise complies with the rate, cookie period, and program rules displayed in the dashboard or partner agreement.

Commission rates, attribution windows, validation periods, minimum payout amounts, and payment schedules may be shown in the affiliate dashboard or a written agreement. Private Belize Adventure may correct an error and may hold, reverse, or deduct commission connected with a refund, cancellation, chargeback, fraud, duplicate booking, incorrect attribution, or policy violation.

3. Tracking and attribution

Affiliates must use approved tracking links or codes. Attribution may fail if a traveler does not use the link or code, blocks or clears cookies, uses another partner’s link, changes devices, books through another channel, or cannot reasonably be connected to the affiliate.

Private Belize Adventure may review a manual claim when the traveler clearly identified the partner before booking. Manual attribution is discretionary and must be supported by reliable records. Affiliates must not submit false, self-created, or duplicate attribution claims.

4. Clear affiliate disclosure

Affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose the financial relationship wherever a recommendation or link may result in commission. The disclosure must be close to the recommendation or link, easy to notice, and understandable without opening a separate legal page.

A suitable plain-language disclosure is: “I may earn a commission if you book through links in this post, at no additional cost to you.”

For video, audio, short-form, and social content, the affiliate must use a disclosure appropriate to the way the endorsement is presented. A platform’s built-in paid-partnership tool may be used, but affiliates remain responsible for making the relationship clear. “Affiliate link” alone may not adequately explain that the affiliate receives commission.

5. Truthful content and endorsements

Affiliate content must be honest, accurate, and not misleading. An affiliate must not claim personal experience they did not have or make a claim that Private Belize Adventure could not lawfully or truthfully make.

Affiliates must not guarantee weather, wildlife sightings, exact travel or return time, unrestricted site access, availability, refunds, discounts, cruise return, safety outcomes, or another result unless Private Belize Adventure confirmed the specific statement in writing.

Reviews and testimonials must reflect genuine experience. Affiliates may not create, purchase, suppress, manipulate, or arrange fake or misleading reviews.

6. Brand and advertising restrictions

Without written permission, affiliates may not:

• bid on Private Belize Adventure, brand misspellings, domain names, or confusingly similar terms in paid search;
• register a domain, account, page, group, or business name that impersonates the brand;
• publish fake coupons, unauthorized discounts, expired offers, or false scarcity;
• send spam or use purchased or unauthorized contact lists;
• use adware, malware, forced clicks, cookie stuffing, misleading redirects, or hidden tracking;
• alter logos, photos, descriptions, or tour details in a misleading way; or
• represent themselves as an employee, owner, official support account, or booking office of Private Belize Adventure.

7. Belize pickup and cruise claims

Affiliates must accurately distinguish Belize City cruise-port excursions from tours departing San Pedro, Caye Caulker, San Ignacio, Placencia, Hopkins, or another location. Tours from island or inland pickup points must not be promoted as cruise excursions unless Private Belize Adventure confirms that exact departure arrangement.

Affiliates should send travelers to the current tour page and avoid copying prices, schedules, inclusions, or availability in a way that becomes outdated.

8. Approved content and intellectual property

Affiliates may use approved links, descriptions, logos, and images only for authorized promotion of Private Belize Adventure. Permission is limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and does not transfer ownership. Materials must be removed when requested or when the affiliate relationship ends.

9. Privacy and data security

Affiliates must comply with applicable privacy, email, advertising, and data-protection requirements. An affiliate must not collect sensitive traveler information on our behalf unless expressly authorized and secured. Traveler booking information received through an approved process may be used only for the relevant referral or support purpose.

Suspected tracking abuse, account compromise, data loss, or fraudulent booking activity must be reported promptly.

10. Monitoring and correction

Private Belize Adventure may review affiliate content and request correction or removal of inaccurate, unsafe, undisclosed, or non-compliant promotion. Affiliates must act promptly. We may suspend links, tracking, commission, or the account while a concern is investigated.

11. Payout information and taxes

Affiliates are responsible for accurate payout details and any tax, business-registration, invoice, or identification information reasonably required for payment. Each affiliate is responsible for its own taxes and legal obligations. Private Belize Adventure may withhold a payout until required information is complete or a suspected violation is resolved.

12. Termination

Either party may end the affiliate relationship. Private Belize Adventure may suspend or terminate immediately for fraud, fake reviews, spam, undisclosed endorsements, trademark misuse, impersonation, false booking claims, policy violations, or conduct that creates material customer or brand risk.

Eligible unpaid commission may be reviewed after termination. Commission connected with a violation, fraud, cancellation, refund, chargeback, or duplicate booking may be denied or reversed.

13. Governing law and updates

These affiliate terms are governed by the laws of Belize unless a mandatory law requires otherwise. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue. Private Belize Adventure may update the program for future activity by posting revised terms or giving reasonable notice through the dashboard or contact information on file.
