Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions
Last updated: May 12, 2026. The Private Belize Adventure affiliate program is a pay-per-sale partner program. Affiliates are paid commissions on eligible completed bookings, not on clicks, impressions, leads, or general website traffic.
Program Approval
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Private Belize Adventure may approve, reject, pause, or remove an affiliate account at its discretion. We prefer partners who create honest travel content, serve Belize travelers, represent the brand professionally, and understand that cruise-friendly tours only apply to Belize City cruise-port departures.
Commission Basis
Commissions are earned only on eligible bookings that can be tracked to the affiliate and that are completed, paid, and not canceled, refunded, disputed, fraudulent, or reversed. The commission rate, cookie period, and payout schedule may be shown in the affiliate dashboard or written partner agreement.
We do not pay per click. Referral visits may be tracked for reporting, but clicks alone do not create a commission. Commissions are reviewed and paid on a monthly basis after bookings are verified.
Tracking and Attribution
Affiliates must use approved tracking links or codes. A commission may not be credited if the guest does not use the link or code, uses another partner?s link, clears cookies, books through another channel, or cannot reasonably be matched to the affiliate. Private Belize Adventure may manually review attribution when a guest clearly identifies the referring partner before booking.
Brand Protection Rules
Affiliates may not bid on Private Belize Adventure branded keywords, misspellings of the brand, domain names, or confusingly similar names in paid search advertising. Affiliates may not create fake coupon codes, publish unauthorized discounts, imply that a discount is guaranteed, or advertise expired offers. Affiliates may not represent San Pedro, Caye Caulker, San Ignacio, Placencia, or Hopkins tours as cruise ship excursions. Cruise excursions are only for Belize City cruise-port guests and confirmed Belize City departures.
Disclosure Requirements
Affiliates must clearly disclose when they may earn a commission. Disclosures must be easy for travelers to notice and understand, especially in blog posts, videos, social media captions, email newsletters, and review content. Endorsements must be honest and based on real experience or accurate information.
Content Standards
Affiliate content must be truthful, professional, and not misleading. Partners may not make guarantees about wildlife sightings, exact travel times, cruise return, weather, refunds, discounts, availability, or private access unless those claims are confirmed in writing by Private Belize Adventure. Affiliates may use approved photos, tour descriptions, logos, and links, but may not alter the brand in a misleading way.
Prohibited Activity
Prohibited activity includes spam, fake reviews, misleading redirects, cookie stuffing, forced clicks, adware, malware, unauthorized email lists, trademark misuse, impersonation, false scarcity, misleading cruise claims, and any promotion that harms the reputation of Private Belize Adventure or Belize tourism.
Payouts and Adjustments
Commissions may be held, adjusted, or reversed for refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, duplicate bookings, fraud, incorrect attribution, policy violations, or unpaid balances. Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payout details and any required tax or business information.
Termination
Either party may end the affiliate relationship. Private Belize Adventure may remove an affiliate immediately for serious policy violations, misleading claims, brand bidding, fake coupons, or dishonest promotion. Unpaid commissions may be reviewed before final payout.
