These Terms and Conditions explain how Private Belize Adventure handles tour requests, private tour planning, bookings, payments, pickup details, changes, and guest responsibilities. Please read them before booking a Belize tour, shore excursion, transfer, or custom private experience.
Tour requests and confirmations
Submitting a form, WhatsApp message, email, or availability request does not guarantee that a tour is confirmed. A tour is confirmed only after Private Belize Adventure reviews the date, pickup location, group size, timing, route, availability, and payment or deposit requirements when applicable.
For the most accurate planning, guests should provide the travel date, number of guests, pickup location, cruise ship name when applicable, flight or water taxi timing when applicable, and any mobility, health, or activity concerns that may affect the tour.
Private tour planning
Private tours are planned around the confirmed pickup point, route, activity type, and available time. Some activities depend on site rules, weather, road conditions, river levels, sea conditions, guide availability, supplier schedules, or government and park requirements. The final order of stops may change when needed for safety, timing, or operating conditions.
Pricing, deposits, and payment
Prices may vary by pickup location, group size, tour route, included activities, transportation needs, and third-party supplier costs. If a deposit or full payment is required, the payment details will be explained before confirmation. Guests are responsible for reviewing what is included and not included before paying.
Pickup and timing
Guests must arrive at the confirmed meeting point on time. Cruise passengers should provide ship arrival and departure details before booking. Island guests from San Pedro or Caye Caulker should confirm water taxi or local flight timing before the mainland portion of a tour is finalized. Late arrival, missed connections, or missing pickup details can affect the tour and may limit refund options.
Guest responsibilities
Guests are responsible for choosing tours that fit their comfort level, health, mobility, age, and activity ability. Outdoor tours in Belize may involve heat, rain, uneven ground, steps, water, boats, caves, wildlife areas, long drives, or changing conditions. Guests must follow guide, driver, site, and activity-operator instructions during the tour.
Cancellations, refunds, and changes
Cancellation and refund handling depends on the tour, travel date, supplier costs, timing of the request, and whether expenses have already been committed. Please review the Cancellation and Refund Policy for more details before booking.
Travel insurance
Private Belize Adventure strongly recommends personal travel insurance, travel health insurance, and medical evacuation coverage for Belize travel, outdoor activities, cruise travel, island connections, and international trips. Tour operator insurance does not replace personal travel insurance.
Third-party operators and site rules
Some tours may include park staff, reserves, water taxi operators, boat operators, local guides, activity providers, restaurants, or other third-party services. These providers may have their own rules, schedules, safety requirements, cancellation terms, and operating limits.
Questions before booking
If you are unsure whether a tour is a good fit, contact Private Belize Adventure before booking. We would rather help you choose the right tour than confirm an itinerary that does not fit your timing, pickup location, or comfort level.
